Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up in the state. She became a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship with her mom. Sheryl said that at one point her mother had attacked the father of her child as she was too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the television program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being in The Talk as co-host. She also has fictional roles on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
