Lucy Liu, an American voice actress producer director and singer is also an accomplished actor. As an intelligent and attractive actress, she serves as a role model for numerous Asian actors in Hollywood that want to be successful. After a series of appearances on popular television series and movies, she gained fame for her role in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. In the wake of her popularity, she was offered important parts for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii In the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading parts in box office flops such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell.
