Emily Bett Rickards, born on July 24 1991 in Canada, is an Canadian actor best known for playing Felicity Smoak in The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards grew up within British Columbia. When she was a kid, Rickards began her journey by exploring musical theater. She then moved on to dance. In later years, she was hoping to introduce herself to the world of serious acting. After graduating early from high-school and attending Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. The audition was an open call following the completion of her course. The audition resulted in her being accepted with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was where she learned. Her chemistry with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the fans, and her sarcastic remarks led to the initial contract for one episode as a Guest Star.
